About Fil
Fil Szadurski is an Employment and Litigation Lawyer at his very core, regularly advising clients on complex employment matters across Canada. Fil was called to the bar in both Ontario and Alberta.
He is highly experienced with guiding employers through all aspects of workplace compliance issues, investigations, contracts, compensation packages, policies, and much more. He is equally at home representing employers and employees through negotiations, and in litigation at all levels of court and tribunals, including executive negotiations and disputes.
Fil’s interest in employment law runs deep as he regularly writes and presents on employment law topics for legal conferences, professional audiences, and businesses across the country.
In addition to his employment practice, Fil also practices commercial litigation, regulatory and provincial offences defence, and is a certified workplace investigator through the Human Resources Professionals Association.
Fil’s unique professional journey – transitioning from a gourmet chef to a lawyer – sets him apart in the legal field. This diverse background allows him to practice law efficiently and effectively, having been responsible for running a busy and thriving business before entering law. This experience helps Fil bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to all cases.
Fil is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Carleton University. Outside of the office, you can find Fil travelling with his family throughout the world, spending time outdoors, and periodically reconnecting with his culinary roots through the exploration of various restaurants and food hot spots.
*Practicing in association and through a Professional Corporation.
